The Restoration of the Kitchen in the Parish hall
How it used to look..... it is sad to note the neglect of this wonderful church hall that had happened over the previous decade. It is also sad to note how little help Saint Aidan's has had in terms of fund raising for this project - being turned down by most of the local grant making trusts (iuncluding the Church Urban Fund!!!!) was very demoralising.
However, we are very grateful to the Co-op for a very generous grant that has enabled us to get on with the very important task of bringing this valuable resource back up to a standard that it can be used for public functions once more.

Day 1
he kitchen is stripped of everything that is being thrown away - including the sink, the oven, the heater. Some of the units are re-sited and all of the worksurfaces are taken out.
