On Saturday 15th October, Bishop Norman paid his first visit to Saint Aidan's as Bishop of Richborough to consecrate a new Altar for the Lady Chapel. Made by Terry Ward, the altar was consecrated at a Solemn Concelebrated Mass followed by a lunch in the Hall. Please see below for the pictures of a most joyous occasion.

The Mass began in the usual way.... before the new altar was Chrismated, the Holy Relics were put under the Mensa Stone and the prayer of consecreatioon was said by the Bishop. It was then blessed with incense before the Mass continued in the usual way.
