Like so many other things in the Hall, the PA System had not functioned for many years and no-one had thought to repairit. It was decided that the old system would be thrown away and a new system put back in the place in which the old one used to reside. The system itself is very simple, but now we are able to have music playing while the Hall is used and perhaps more importantly, we are able to provide hall hirers with the facility of amplified speech with the benefit of radio microphones.

As can be seen, the speakers sit quite happily on either side of the stage.

We have also installed a new banner over the stage that features the Icon of our Patron, Saint Aidan, that was commissioned for our Golden Jubilee in 2009.
