New Servery for the Kitchen
As can be seen from the picture below, the servery hatch for the kitchen was too low and too small to be much use. It was essential that if the kitchen was going to work to its full potential at the many social evenings that are hosted at the Parish Hall.
It was therefore decided that a larger servery hatch should be cut into the wall and that a new mechanical roller shutter be fitted so that it would be capable of the large volume of food that has to pass through. Below are some of the pictures of installation of the new servery. Please click on the thumbnail to see the larger picture.
Once the new hole was created and the girder fitted, the new mechanical roller shutter was installed.
The plaster and the paint was then made good. All in all, it has made use of the kitchen so much easier!
