To raise money for the next stage of the Church Hall Renovation, Fr. Simon has recorded a CD of popular organ music played on the new organ here at Saint Aidan's. This has been mainly at the request of members of the congregation, and the recording includes many pieces of music heard at Saint Aidan's throughout the year, though not normally by the Parish Priest!

Before his Ordination, Fr. Simon worked as a professional organist, giving recitals at places such as the Cathedrals of Liverpool, Lichfield, Lincoln, Coventry, Ripon, York Minster and Ampleforth Abbey. He has broadcast on both BBC Radio 3 and Classic FM and was recently featured at the Organ of the Royal Albert Hall.

We are very grateful to Eminent Organs and the Co-op Funerals on Wyngate Drive, Leicester who are sponsoring this recording, without whose help it would not be possible. It is hoped that the CD will be available by late November.
