Saint Aidan's Parish Hall
 | Situated right next door to the Church, our Hall is the meeting place for most of the community activities that happen in New Parks. We are currently having the Hall totally renovated after many years of neglect and are hoping to start the fundraising necessary for an important new extension. There are many people and organisations that hire the Hall for functions, sports classes, as a meeting place or even as a place of worship. 2010 saw the start of the first stage of renovation in what hopefully is going to be a very serious re-building of this wonderful resource for use of both the Church and Community. More details of this can be found by clicking on the picture opposite. |  |
Now that some of the remedial work has been done on the Hall, Saint Aidan's is very happy to announce that many more people from the wider community are able to use the very good facilities that the hall Offers. More details can be seen about our Childcare Provisions on the Step by Step Childcare Page of this website, and beneath can be seen pictures of our Hall as set up for a business lunch for one of our corporate users. The work of renovation continues however - at the start of 2012 it was apparent that a new heating system was needed and also that the state of the concrete window sills had got to the point where they all needed replacing. Therefore the work of fundraising over £18,500 had started again.
