The First Station - Jesus is condemned to death.

We adore you, O Christ, and we bless you because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world.

Jesus, you stand all alone before Pilate. Nobody speaks up for you, nobody helps defend you. You devoted your entire life to helping others, caring for those who were ignored by everyone. They don't seem to remember that as they prepare to put you to death.





 


Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
